Wessie van der Westhuizen

Wessie began his career in healthcare in 2001 as a Clinical Engineer at Life Midmed Hospital. He joined Medhold Medical in May 2003 as a Field Service Engineer in Gauteng and was promoted to Area Service Manager for the Gauteng South region in 2006. In 2016, he was appointed National Service Manager, followed by his promotion to Business Unit Manager: Technical in July 2022. With more than 25 years’ experience in clinical engineering and medical technology, Wessie was appointed General Manager: Technical on 1 July 2026 and leads Medhold’s Technical Division.
