Multiple screw fixation in the femoral condyles allows fixation of distal fractures, including periprosthetic fractures.1,2,3
The Variable Angle LCP™ Curved Condylar Plate has many similarities to standard locking fixation methods, with a few important improvements including:
Variable angle (VA) locking screw technology allows freedom to choose screw trajectory up to 15° in each direction to avoid existing implants, prosthesis, or independent lag screws. A variety of lengths are available which allow for desired spanning of the femur.4
OPTILINK™ is the brand name for a Stainless Steel VA Locking Screw which has undergone a heat treatment and hardening process. OPTILINK™ technology makes the use of VA Locking Screws in Stainless Steel or TAN VA Condylar Plates possible.
Various instrument options for fixed and variable angle predrilling in the plate head.
