The DePuy Synthes Cable System is a cerclage system that consists of two different-sized cerclage cables with crimp in three different materials [Stainless steel, Titanium Alloy, Cobalt Chromium Alloy], and instruments for applying the cable assembly.

About This System

The Cable System consists of an assembly of various devices such as cerclage wires, cerclage cables, positioning pins, inserts, eyes, reattachment devices as well as associated instruments such as cable passing tube, cerclage passer and cable tensioner.

Features & Benefits

Compatible with DePuy Synthes Implants

The Cable system is compatible with the existing DePuy Synthes Plates and Screws, both in stainless steel and titanium.^1,2,3

Cerclage Passer

Designed as two separate halves to facilitate sequential insertion through one incision.^4*

Crimping

A ratchet mechanism controls the amount of crimp and deformation. The crimper automatically releases when the cable is crimped (no overcrimping or undercrimping possible).⁵

Cerclage Eyes

Available in 3.5 mm, 4 mm and 4.5 mm in titanium and stainless steel.

Cerclage Cables

The cable is available in 1.0 mm and 1.7 mm diameters in stainless steel, titanium alloy, and cobalt chromium alloy with titanium crimp.

Positioning Pins

Pins are available in titanium and stainless steel.
