The Medhold MIC Training Workshop held in July 2024 was highly successful. It spanned a 4-day program with 186 attendees from across the country.

The program took place at several locations: King Edward VIII Hospital in KZN, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Gauteng, Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Gauteng, and Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Western Cape.

Speakers included Kaleb Lachenicht (Chief Clinical Officer and HEMS paramedic) and Ghada ElKhaldi (Advanced Clinical Leader at GE Healthcare). Also accompanying Medhold from GE were Yuce Yucelen (Product Manager) and Niri Naidoo (GE RSA). The Medhold team included Verena Roodt (Business Unit Manager – GE Healthcare Division) and Natasha Kraamwinkel (Product Manager, MIC & Ventilation, GE Healthcare Division).

Medhold enthusiastically participated in the  Infant Care Training as well as the Nelson Mandela Day celebrations, and looks forward to the next Training Workshop.
