Asavela Lumkwana – Non Executive

Asavela is an investment professional at Sanlam Private Equity (SPE), having joined in January 2025. She has over six years of experience across private equity, public investment and finance consulting. Asavela serves on the  board of Danny’s Auto, one of SPE’s key portfolio investments. She has also served as a finance consultant at the Public Investment Corporation; Agile Capital, an independent private equity company; and RMB after completing her articles at Deloitte. Asavela holds a B Comm (Honours) degree, and is a CA(SA) holder.
