SALES CONSULTANT – ORTHOPAEDIC TRAUMA (KWA-ZULU NATAL)
PREFERABLY AA

Medhold Medical seeks a suitably qualified, high-energy performer with drive, to fill the above varied and challenging position responsible for the above defined/specific geographical territory, reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Orthopaedic Trauma Division.

 

The successful candidate must:

  • Have at least 5 years medical devices sales experience;
  • Experience in the Orthopaedic Trauma sales environment will be an advantage;
  • Have a proven sales performance record;
  • Be computer literate (Excel, Internet, Word will be an advantage);
  • Have good communication, telephone and interaction skills;
  • Be assertive and able to deal with non-sales personnel;
  • Have good administration skills;
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and still maintain high standards;
  • Be a self-starter, deadline and results oriented.

 

The Core responsibilities will be:

  • Planning and organizing call cycles geographically and economically;
  • Establishing positive relations with customers through effective and efficient service delivery;
  • Ensuring that agreed sales targets are achieved;
  • Ensuring sound administration of area of responsibility;
  • Always projecting a positive company image in interactions with customers;
  • Ensuring effective two-way communication with management takes place on a regular basis;
  • Will be required to work after hours and weekends as and when required;
  • Time management.

        SALES CONSULTANT – GETINGE INFECTION CONTROL (GAUTENG)
        PREFERABLY AA
        SALARY PACKAGE NEGOTIABLE

        Medhold Medical seeks a suitably qualified high-energy performer with the drive, to fill the above varied and challenging position, reporting to the National Product & Regional Sales Manager – Getinge.

        The successful candidate must have:

        • Have excellent proven sales skills with knowledge of CSSD and Infection Control;
        • Be able to build effective relationships with key decision makers;
        • Be self motivated and have a positive attitude to the product range;
        • Have very good communication skills with the ability to develop excellent relationships with clients;
        • Be computer literate (Excel, Internet, Word and PowerPoint);
        • Be assertive and able to deal with indifferent clients in a professional way;
        • Have the ability to work under pressure and still maintain high standards;
        • Be a self-starter, deadline and results oriented;
        • Have extensive knowledge and experience in the sales of the Getinge range of equipment;
        • Technical aptitude and ability when liaising with the Clinical Engineering department, and also ensuring that the site inspections are done thoroughly when presenting proposals to the client;
        • Have a hands on approach and assist in such installations even after hours and on weekends.

        The Core responsibilities will be:

        • Promoting & selling the Getinge Capital and Consumable product lines to hospitals and medical

        Practitioners in the allotted region chosen by the Business Unit Manager;

        • Managing and organizing the sales activities to ensure professional and efficient coverage of the Getinge products in the region selected;
        • Establishing positive relations with customers through effective and efficient service delivery;
        • Ensuring that agreed sales and service targets are achieved;
        • Ensuring sound administration of area of responsibility i.e. forecasts and call reports;
        • Always projecting a positive company image in interactions with customers;
        • Ensuring effective two-way communication with management takes place on a regular basis;
        • Time management;
        • Co-ordinating and managing the installation of equipment and ensuring that the installation checklist and commissioning certificates are completed;
        • Training of the personnel once the equipment is installed and ensuring that this is documented;
        • Ensuring that training is extended and ongoing even after the preliminary training and installation.
